Training & education
Analytical quality training programme
LGC offers a range of training courses on analytical quality.
These courses are developed and delivered by staff with substantial
knowledge of quality assurance.
The training programme has been running for over 10 years to
delegates from a diverse range of sectors including environmental
analysis, food analysis, pharmaceuticals and chemical
manufacturing.
Topics currently covered include:
- Quality systems in testing laboratories (including implementing
ISO/IEC 17025)
- Statistics for analytical chemists
- Method validation
- Evaluating measurement uncertainty
- Traceability in chemical testing
- Proficiency testing.
The courses are run regularly at LGC’s Teddington site and can also be delivered
off-site.
Alternatively, we can provide a customised training programme
which covers the areas most relevant to an organisation.
