Proficiency testing
LGC, through its
LGC Standards division, is a major international provider of
proficiency testing services, with over
20 years' experience in the provision of proficiency testing
schemes to laboratories undertaking chemical and microbiological
analysis.
We provide chemical and microbiological schemes to the food and
drink industries (meat, dairy) and other food sectors, as
well as water, soil and other environmental sectors. Other sectors
include brewing, distilling, malting, sugar, forensic analysis,
consumer safety and pharmaceuticals. In addition to the variety of
schemes offered, we provide managed solutions for in-house
proficiency testing providers and training for participants and
their customers.

national, European and international role in the development of
