Process and Operational Efficiency
LGC is a strong advocate of Lean practices. We
strive where possible to remove non-value-adding activities and to
streamline processes, allowing efficient and competitive business
operations.
In order to achieve this, LGC has developed a
Process and Operational Efficiency Team (POET). POET’s key role is
to work closely with teams to develop tailored improvement
programmes and facilitate change.
LGC also offers POET services to external
companies, to promote knowledge transfer and share of ‘best
practice’ within Lean process improvement for Research &
Development and analytical operations.
