LGC Standards introduces new range of ISO
Guide 34 certified reference materials from ULTRA
Scientific
LGC
Standards is pleased to offer ULTRA Scientific’s new line of
ISO Guide 34 certified reference materials (CRM), ULTRAgold®.
ULTRAgold fulfils international needs with CRMs at convenient
concentrations of 1000 ppm and 10 ppm, as well as incorporating
REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of
Chemical Substances) labelling into its products, to better assist
the laboratory community.
As technology develops and regulatory bodies keep pace by
setting new regulatory requirements for analytes and detection
limits, CRM producers must stay ahead of the game with
better-defined standards and calibrators with validated and stated
uncertainties. LGC Standards recognises the increasing emphasis on
CRM traceability and uncertainty and is delighted to offer the
ULTRAgold line as part of its comprehensive range of inorganic
standards.
ISO Guide 34 requires an extensive protocol for homogeneity,
short term stability, long term stability, quality control and
statistical analysis. Many laboratory accreditation bodies in
Europe support the use of ISO Guide 34 CRMs and ULTRA Scientific
meets this need.
John Russo, President of ULTRA Scientific commented,
"ULTRA Scientific is always searching for new ways to better
serve our customers. Launching ULTRAgold ISO Guide 34 Certified
Reference Materials is another example of the importance we place
on maintaining our position in the industry as an innovative
leader. Regulations, technology and most importantly, our customers
drive us to be better and to produce products that meet new and
exacting standards. LGC Standards is our ideal partner in bringing
innovative and high quality products to the analytical standards
market."
