09-Oct-2009 – Seminar – Method validation: Principles and practice

The third joint LGC and Eurachem-UK Method Validation seminar will be held in Runcorn, Cheshire on 19 January 2010

Following the successful seminars held in 2007 and 2008, LGC is pleased to announce the third joint LGC and Eurachem-UK seminar on Method Validation.

The next seminar will be held at the Conference Centre, The Heath Business and Technical Park, Runcorn, Cheshire on 19 January 2010. The fee for this one day event is £65 + VAT.

The seminar will provide a valuable introduction to method validation. The morning session, delivered by experienced trainers from LGC’s Quality Assurance training courses, will discuss approaches to evaluating key method performance parameters including precision, bias and capability of detection. The afternoon session will include case studies illustrating how method validation can be carried out in practice.

The seminar is being organised by LGC with support from the UK National Measurement Office as part of the Chemical and Biological Metrology programme.
