02-July-2007 - LGC´s Maxine Chow an In-house Lawyer of the Year

Maxine Chow, Company Secretary and Group
Legal Advisor at LGC, was a finalist in The Lawyer Awards, reaching
the final six in the category, In-house Lawyer of the
Year
Having read chemistry at Oxford, Maxine qualified as a solicitor
with city law firm Theodore Goddard (now Addleshaw Goddard) and,
prior to joining LGC, she was Legal & Operations Advisor for
Catalyst Biomedica Limited and The Wellcome Trust. An active member
of the Law Society, Maxine serves on its Commerce and Industry
Corporate Governance Committee.
The winning In-house Lawyer of the Year award went to Debbie
D’Aubney, HSBC, at the awards ceremony on 26 June 2007. Through the
awards, readers of The Lawyer raised £76,000 for ChildHope and the
Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
