02-August 2010 – Measuring
up for REACH – LGC to host November 2010 seminar to advise on
compliance
Free half-day REACH and CLP compliance event to be held
at LGC’s Teddington site on 4 November 2010
Are you looking for more advice on REACH
(Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of
Chemicals) and CLP compliance? Do you want to know how chemical and
bioanalytical measurements can help you satisfy the regulations? If
yes, come and find out more at a free lunchtime and afternoon event
on 4 November 2010. The event is funded by the UK National
Measurement Office and will be hosted at LGC headquarters in
Teddington by the Government Chemist in
partnership with the Chemical Hazards Communication Society.
As well as scientists working in industry, SMEs and Public
Analysts, the afternoon is designed to meet the needs and concerns
of those working in and with businesses to make use of chemical and
bioanalytical measurements. Advice on laboratory best practice,
scientific issues, reporting and consistent data presentation will
help toward the progression of REACH dossiers, successful CLP
notifications, robust safety data sheets and effective regulatory
enforcement.
This half-day event will be held between 12.00 pm and 3.30 pm on
Thursday 4 November at LGC, Teddington, South West London.
To reserve your place at this event, please contact John Francis
