| The Analytical Route Map is a logical network designed to provide or validate analytical strategies for chemists and life scientists, which LGC launched with sponsorship from the DTI. The website is aimed at analytical scientists and laboratory managers based in industry and provides a problem solving resource and non-commercial practical advice on specialist techniques, from active ultrasound spectroscopy to electroseparations. |

| LGC Promochem´s partnership with ATCC facilitates the distribution of ATCC cultures and bioproducts to life science researchers throughout Europe. |

| BAM |
| BAM is the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM) of Germany and has been producing and distributing certified reference materials since 1912. LGC signed a Memorandum of Collaboration agreement with BAM to create task groups to address those areas in which the two organisations have complementary skills and expertise, including metrology in chemistry, measurements for biotechnology and reference materials. | European Reference Materials |
| In 2004, LGC and BAM, together with IRMM (the European Commission’s Institute of Reference Measurements and Materials) launched the European Reference Material (ERM®) initiative to produce a brand new standard in reference materials to ensure reliability and comparability of the results of chemical analysis. |
