LGC’s Innovation and Support Group is the
source of pioneering developments in DNA technology including
HyBeacons probe technology
applicable to high throughput as well as point-of-care diagnostics
used by the Life &
Food Sciences Division, and DNA SenCE an enhancing methodology for DNA profiling used by LGC Forensics Division.

LGC’s Process and
Operational Efficiency Team is part of the company’s Innovation
and Support group. The
POET
team is
skilled in lean production concepts, process mapping and laboratory
LabSmart TM modelling.
POET’s services are available to external
partners looking to increase the efficiency of their laboratory
operations.
