Our public sector clients include UK
government departments and the European Commission.
In the private sector, our customers range
from small companies and university start-ups to multinational
corporations.
Our client base includes a number of blue-chip
pharmaceutical companies, medical device producers, as well as
emerging biotechnology and speciality drug discovery
organisations.
Our contracts with
DIUS
underpin the statutory function of the Government Chemist and
LGC’s role as the UK’s designated National Measurement Institute for
chemical & bioanalytical measurement.
LGC operates and manages a range of research
programmes on behalf of UK government including the Department of
Health (DH]) and Department for Business Enterprise and Regulatory
Reform (BERR).
We carry out contract research and development
and calibration and testing services for a variety of public and
private sector clients.
