Point of care testing
LGC is currently developing control materials
and associated ‘gold standard’ performance ranges (for precision,
sensitivity, specificity etc) to benchmark emerging assay methods
and instrument platforms.
Emerging platforms for rapid disease testing
could enable Point of Care analysis, allowing faster diagnosis of
clinical conditions and more effective treatment of individuals’
needs.
