Array-based detection
LGC is developing array performance indicators
and quality metrics to determine objectively the quality and impact
of experimental variables on the data generated by toxicogenomic
and other microarray-based experiments. These variables include the
starting quality of RNA, labelling efficiency and instrument
platform
Microarray platforms offer the opportunity to
monitor changes at the whole genome level to understand mechanisms
of disease and toxic effects of drugs.
