Method development & validation

LGC has significant expertise and years of experience in the development and validation of robust analytical methods to support a wide range of industrial sectors.

Methods can be developed in accordance to customer specific guidelines, protocols and procedures or LGC’s own procedures.

LGC has significant expertise in the development and validation of methodologies in accordance with ICH guidelines Q2 (R1) and Q6A.

This service extends to a number of techniques including:

  • LC-UV, LC-DAD and LC-MS
  • GC-FID, GC-ECD, GC-MS
  • Headspace GC
  • Inorganic analysis by ICP-MS, ICP-OES, GF- AA and AA
  • Particle characterisation by vapour sorption, particle sizing, thermal analysis and microscopy
  • NMR, IR, Raman.

 

 

 

Included in these services is the validation of methods supplied by a third party and the transfer of methods to third party sites.
