Frank Vielba, Chief Information Officer

Frank Vielba joined LGC in January 2009 as Chief Information Officer (CIO), with overall responsibility for LGC's full range of IT systems including IT strategy, security and disaster recovery. He is also responsible for ensuring the effective integration of IT platforms across the company, in line with LGC's future business growth.

Frank holds Chartered Engineer and MBA qualifications. He is a Chartered Fellow of the British Computer Society and a member of the Institute of Electrical Engineers and Institute of Directors. He has 35 years experience in IT Management and Management consulting working for international companies including senior IT Executive roles in Emerson Electric, Schlumberger, ICI, Coca-Cola and KPMG.

As a consultant Frank has worked with both corporate and private equity investors doing M&A strategic work in the area of IT due diligence, integration strategy and post integration reviews.
