Buyout Track 100
LGC ranked number 48 in top 100.
On 18 February 2007 The Sunday Times published the first annual
Buyout Track 100 league table, with title sponsor Deloitte, and
main sponsor Lloyds TSB Corporate Markets. The league table, which
featured as a special supplement in The Sunday Times, ranks
Britain´s 100 private equity-backed mid-market companies based on
profit growth in the period 2004 to 2006.
Positioned at number 48 in the table, LGC’s profile in the
supplement describes its role today as a provider of a broad range
of analytical services to the public and private sectors in DNA
testing and chemical analysis, as well as its statutory role as
Government
Chemist, acting as arbiter on disputes relating to analytical
chemistry.
