From our foundations as a measurement standards organisation,
LGC offers products and services that enable our customers to
achieve results in challenging analytical and bioanalytical assays,
from single analysis through to high-volume automated testing
programmes. LGC employs over 1400 highly-skilled staff and is a
leading developer of new methods and standards in biotechnology and
analytical measurement.
LGC is the UK’s designated National
Measurement Institute for chemical and biochemical analysis and
is also the host organisation for the UK’s Government Chemist
function.
