From our foundations as a measurement standards organisation,
LGC offers products and services that enable our customers to
achieve results in challenging analytical and bioanalytical assays,
from single analysis through to high-volume automated testing
programmes. LGC employs 1,460 highly skilled staff and is a leading
developer of new methods and standards in biotechnology and
analytical measurement.
LGC is the UK’s designated National
Measurement Institute for chemical and biochemical analysis ,
the National Reference Laboratory for a
range of key areas, and is also the host organisation for the UK’s
Government Chemist
function.
